Lowden son tiempos difíciles atrayendo tiempos aún peores. Esto es Lowden, la penitenciaría estatal de reclusión mixta que muestra la parte más oscura del ser humano. Es la retribución para las bestias de la sociedad, las personas malas. Todos nosotros somos animales. Pero ¿qué es una bestia? ¿Quién debería estar realmente tras los barrotes? ¿El hombre que es libre y fluye su instinto con las más grandes fantasías jamás imaginadas... o el hombre que encierra a su hermano y le arrebata su identidad? Quién, de todos nosotros, afuera o adentro, ¿quién no es una bestia potencial?
